Keep Coach Niceforo’s Light Alive


Support the Lawrence High Wrestling Team as we raise funds for a memorial mat light to honor his legacy.


The wrestling program want you to raise money for a mat light in honor of a coach that passed away.


Coach Niceforo (Coach Nice and Nicey) devoted 20 years to the Lawrence High School wrestling team - shaping not just strong wrestlers, but strong people. His passion, commitment, and heart left a lasting mark on everyone who stepped on the mat.

To honor his incredible impact, the Lawrence High Wrestling team and Athletic Department along with Everyone’s A Player are raising funds for a personalized wrestling mat light and system which will illuminate the center of the mat during matches. This light will serve as a lasting tribute to Coach Niceforo, shining bright as future wrestlers compete and carry forward the values he instilled: hard work, respect, and resilience.



Every contribution, big or small, helps make this tribute a reality and keeps Coach Niceforo’s legacy and spirit at the heart of the program he helped build.
